Amy's Bio

Amy Paffrath was born and raised in St. Louis, Mo. A natural performer, she channeled her energy into gymnastics and put on newscasts for her family. The young starlet always had a curious nature and decided to pursue a career in journalism.

While attending the University of Missouri, Amy completed an internship at Entertainment Tonight in Los Angeles alongside Mark Steines and Mary Hart. After earning a degree in broadcast journalism in 2005, she made her long anticipated move to Los Angeles to pursue her dreams of entertainment news reporting.

Her Midwestern magnetism helped her to immediately land two on-air reporting jobs at Direct TV for In the Mix and Created by You. The ambitious actress-reporter also nabbed roles in film, commercials and music videos, including Paramore's number one hit "Misery Business."

In early 2007 she was given the opportunity to host her very own pop culture news show, Broadcaster News on broadcaster.com.

Since then, Amy has worked as a Fun Fearless Female reporter for Cosmopolitan.com, a series regular on MSN's The Big Debate.

Becoming the host of E! News Now was a dream come true for Amy. When she's not dishing the latest from Hollywood, she can be found hiking, hanging with friends or traveling the world.
