Steve Carell and Anne Hathaway have spied new jobs, Sarah Jessica Parker is on a hiring spree while hubby Matthew Broderick is back on the boards, and Kristen Bell has a new Boy in her life.

Anne Hathaway's Pain, New Movie's Gain
Anne Hathaway didn't hide from personal troubles. Her new film didn't hide from audiences.
Hathaway's Rachel Getting Married stood out in a limited-release debut, grossing $275,000 at only nine theaters, Exhibitor Relations estimates said today. No weekend film made more money per screen—a whopping $30,556—than the indie-minded family drama.
Overall, Beverly Hills Chihuahua ($29 million) topped the box office, while Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist ($12 million) scored with young women.

Nicole Kidman to Be Honored by Hollywood Legend
Nicole Kidman's night at Elle magazine's Women in Hollywood Tribute will be legendary—literally.
None other than silver-screen legend Shirley MacLaine will be presenting Kidman with her award at the upcoming VIP gala.
The 15th annual festivities taking place Oct. 6 in Beverly Hills will honor eight of the movie business' most powerful and celebrated women.
Along with MacLaine, I've also learned that Courteney Cox will present to Isla Fisher, while Mía Maestro will do the same for her best friend, Salma Hayek. Jane Fonda's tribute will come from Kerry Washington, her costar from the New York City reading of Eve Ensler's play Necessary Targets.
The event's host will be E!'s very own funnylady, Chelsea Handler.
Anne Hathaway Expertly Handles David Letterman's Tough Questions About Sleazy Ex
Oh, how we love awkward interviews with David Letterman!
Last night, Dave took a break from heckling McCain to ask Anne Hathaway about that ex-boyfriend of hers. You know, the dreamy one who recently pleaded guilty to federal charges of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy and was especially skilled at lying to Catholic Church officials...what a catch!
Dave asked her the hard things like “Did you have any hints there was a problem?” and “Is he in jail now?” And we gotta say, Anne impressed us. Rather than getting all pissy like Paris Hilton, she just awkwardly laughed along with him and gave sincere answers while trying to get back to the movie she was promoting—Rachel Getting Married.
So give the clip a go and see how many times you cringe for the poor girl. Guess this is just the kind of stuff you have to deal with when you're a smokin’ hot movie star with a felon for an ex.
How to Make Anne Hathaway Look "Edgy"
Anne Hathaway has been reinventing herself on the red carpet as a confident, single woman who doesn’t care about that guilty, sleazy a-hole who lied to the Vatican so he could take her on exotic trips and buy her fancy jewelry.
Phase 2 of Project Makeover Anne Hathaway seems to be making her appear "edgy."
In her new movie, Rachel Getting Married, she plays an ex-model who has been in and out of rehab. Very dark, yes? Now she has this Entertainment Weekly cover declaring her “A Princess No More.” And how do we know Anne is officially edgy? Here are a few clues we picked up on:
Hathaway Ex Gets Smart, Pleads Guilty
Anne Hathaway's former flame Raffaello Follieri is staring at some some quality time behind bars.
The so-called Vati-con pleaded guilty to federal charges of wire fraud, money laundering and conspiracy in Manhattan District Court this morning. He now faces up to five years and three months in prison and could be deported as a result of his plea.
"I did not have investor authorization to use the money that way," the 30-year-old Follieri stated after pleading guilty to all 14 counts stemming from his June 24 bust. "I knew what I did was wrong."
Unable to pony up his hefty $21 million bail, Follieri has been behind bars since his arrest, which—perhaps not so coincidentally—took place just six hours after being dumped by the movie star.
Anne Hathaway: "In Shock" Over Ex's Arrest
Anne Hathaway has had a devil of a time coping with both her split from longtime boyfriend Raffaello Follieri and the drama surrounding his arrest on charges of wire fraud and money laundering.
And for the first time since all of it went down back in June, the 25-year-old actress is speaking out.
"As soon as I found out about the arrest, I had to get on a plane to Mexico to do a press tour for Get Smart," says Anne in the October issue of W magazine. "And then I spent a week in shock at a friend's house."
TIFF '08 Reporter's Notebook: Aniston's Good PR, Hathaway's "Adorkable" Self
• Jennifer Aniston (Management) couldn't manage her feelings towards Brad Pitt (Burn After Reading). She canceled reservations in one hotel she considered too close to him and relocated to premises further away. Aniston's privacy was also protected by her main PR man Stephen Huvane, who spread his jacket in front of her to block any underwear shots during her limo exit.
• The premiere of Burn After Reading turned the normally cool Toronto crowd into a blazing mob of young girls hot for Pitt, who signed autographs on any material offered. The Bradulation overwhelmed costar Tilda Swinton, who felt compelled to apologize to the crowd: "I'm sorry I'm not Brad!"
• MIA from the Burn After Reading screamathon was Pitt BFF George Clooney, in Milan filming a Japanese commerical for Honda.
Burning Q's: A Smile-Free Brit & Anne's Pasty Secret
How do celebs like Anne Hathaway or Marcia Cross stay so pale? I'd swear that they were vampires had I not seen pics of them frolicking in the sunshine.

Look more closely next time you spot Marcia Cross cavorting on the beach. You sure you don't see a few puffs of smoke, with maybe some accompanying sizzling noises?
And according to skin doctors to the stars, someone like her or Hathaway may have a certain skin type that simply hates the sun. "They just cannot tan," explains Beverly Hills dermatologist-to-the-stars Susan Evans. "They burn, but they don't tan."
They also use supergrade sun block—not necessarily expensive—that contains titanium or zinc.
Now, let's knock down some more of your Burning Q's!

Hathaway Ex Busted for Big Business Blunder
UPDATE: During a hearing Tuesday afternoon, a federal judge ordered that Raffaello Follieri be held on $21 million bail on charges of bilking investors out of between $2.5 million and $6 million by pretending to be a real estate point man for the Vatican.
"In short, your honor, he is a con man," U.S. Attorney Reed Michael Brodsky said in court. "He was able to con a lot of people out of a lot of money over a long period of time."
Until he posts bail, at least $16 million of which must come from his own liquid assets, Raffaello is confined to his New York home.
"This is one the stiffest bail packages I have ever seen," his attorney, Flora Edwards, told reporters outside the courthouse. "We are going to do everything we can to meet it."
Meanwhile, a rep for Follieri told the New York Daily News that he is planning to "vigorously" defend himself against the charges.
A status hearing has been set for July 9.
Anne Hathaway Totally Ready for a Prada Sequel
She's sneaking around and taking names this weekend in Get Smart, but Anne Hathaway really lit up when I asked her about getting The Devil Wears Prada gang back together. Hit the clip to see what she says.

Anne Hathaway Hath Gone Solo
Anne Hathaway is not only getting smart, she's apparently wising up.
E! News has confirmed that the actress has split from her scandal-prone boyfriend of the past four years, Italian businessman Raffaello Follieri. Rumors of the split have run rampant since Hathaway's solo turn on the red carpet at Monday's Los Angeles premiere of her new movie, Get Smart.
"There's been a breakup, God willing it's forever," a source close to the Hathaway family told E! News, adding that the actress' father, lawyer Gerald, has not exactly been a cheerleader for the relationship.
